Imagine instead of using one nozzle to spray one liter per hour at one bar of atomizing air pressure, we use a common rail fitted with 10 nozzles that spray each 0,1 liter per hour at 0,1 bar air atomizing air pressure.

The liquid to be sprayed is contained either in a pressure vessel, or in a tank equipped with an anti-pulsating volumetric pump. The liquid is thereby gently pushed towards the nozzles. An air feed near the nozzle’s opening, through a Venturi effect, draws in the liquid and disperses it into micro-droplets. The air-liquid mixture is an external mixture.The pressure needed to obtain a good spray vary between 0,1 to 1 bar. While at the same time guaranteeing a fine spray dispersion, these low air pressures considerably reduce pollution in the working environment.

The multiplication of the sprayguns every 50 mm, up to a total manifold length of 1200 mm, guarantees an even and uniform layer of product at low pressure. The precision of the dosage decreases considerably the external pollution, and brings about savings in product. The diameter of the liquid nozzles range between 250 m to 2,5 mm.

Each nozzle assembly has an automatic clean-out needle that allows a sequential spraying application ; moreover, it regularly unclogs the opening of the liquid cap. The common rail exist in 2 version : the regular one and the jacketed one.

The heart of this technology is the jacketed common rail with his flexible jacketed pipe connexion. This common rail is 100 % compatible with Spraying Systems Co nozzle and spray guns.

The jacketed common rail have inside a water circuit which allows to control precisely the temperature of the manifold. It is the perfect solution to spray liquid which must be maintained at a controled temperature up to 120°C. Each common rail is fitted a jacketed flexible pipe which allows to connect the common rail to the circuit, with the possibility to adjust easyly its position.
